About Ram

Hi. I’m Ram.

For most of my life, I’ve been fascinated by one question: Why do human beings suffer—and how do we flourish instead?

That question has taken me on a journey I never could have planned.

Two Worlds, One Perspective

I grew up surrounded by two very different worlds:

  • My father was an engineer (looking for precision).

  • My mother was a psychologist (looking for meaning).

Without realizing it, I inherited two ways of understanding life. I’ve spent much of my life trying to bring those worlds together.

The Journey: From Science to Wisdom

The Mind & Science:

I studied neurobiology at UC Berkeley, initially planning to become a physician. Along the way, I became deeply interested in psychology, philosophy, music, and the relationship between consciousness and the human mind.I studied neurobiology at UC Berkeley, initially planning to become a physician. The Bridge:

Curiosity led me somewhere unexpected—yoga. What began as a way to heal a back injury became a complete system for understanding the human experience

The Exploration:

I traveled throughout India studying yoga, Ayurveda, meditation, philosophy, and traditional teachings with respected teachers and communities. My background in science became a bridge, fueling my fascination with where ancient wisdom and modern research quietly agree.

The Present:

I’ve spent years teaching yoga teachers, writing, speaking, building businesses, studying artificial intelligence, and exploring how timeless ideas help us navigate a rapidly changing world.

One realization keeps returning: The world doesn’t need more information. It needs better perspective.

Why The Better Question Exists

Not to convince anyone to adopt my beliefs. Not to tell people what to think. But to invite thoughtful conversations about the questions that shape our lives.

The quality of our lives often changes when the quality of our questions changes.

Today, my work lives at the intersection of:

  • Ancient Wisdom & Modern Science

  • Human Flourishing & Purpose

  • Technology & Community

As artificial intelligence accelerates and information becomes limitless, our ability to cultivate awareness, wisdom, compassion, and meaningful connection becomes infinitely more valuable.

Are You Asking These Questions?

  • Why am I really here?

  • Why do I keep repeating the same patterns?

  • How do I become healthier—not just busier?

  • How do I live more intentionally?

  • How do I remain deeply human in a rapidly changing world?

If so, you’re in the right place.

The Core Belief

  • Better questions lead to better thinking.

  • Better thinking leads to better decisions.

  • Better decisions lead to a better life.

Thank you for being here. I’m honored to explore these questions with you.
